Student Representatives

Student Reps talk to students on their course, listen to their opinions and tell the University and Students' Union what the students really think.

School Reps represent the School at Union Council. Being the lead student representatives of the School they voice all their fellow Reps' concerns in regular meetings with the Head of the School. School Reps also have the opportunity to organise meetings and events for the other Reps in the Faculty.

Reps Council is a chance for all Reps from across the University to get together and discuss the academic issues affecting everyone - libraries, exams, the academic offering, performance assessment and feedback, Turnitin, Space to Think...

Course Reps socialise with people from their courses and across the entire university, establishing a wide network of contacts – both students and staff.

A Rep can be any student who cares about the experience that students have at Brookes. If you would like to be a Rep, speak to your Field Chair or Module Leader. You can also email for further information.
