Profile

Practicing Architectural Designer and Researcher. In 2004 she completed a practice based PhD in Architecture, with a scholarship bursary at the University of The West of England, The work included the design and construction of an ‘event’ architecture, architectural representation and a written thesis.

Teaching interests

Unit Leader for Undergraduate BA(Hons) in Architecture. Tutorials, seminars and lectures including crit/examination assessments and dissertation supervision and assessment. Lectures to Cities and Culture Module and Post-graduate MarchD in Research Lead Design and Major Studies Modules and research Philosophy for Design. PhD Supervisor. Undergraduate dissertation Module Leader.

Research interests

Public space and everyday life, the production of public space and utopia and panoramas and their contemporary representational relationship with digital technology. Research through design, drawing and practice.
