Theo Molloy

Associate Lecturer, Co-leader Unit A

Theo holds an M.Arch with distinction from the University of Westminster and a B.Arch from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow having previously studied at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, Switzerland. In October 2014 he completed Postgraduate Diploma (RIBA III) with Merit and is a registered Architect in the UK. His student work was exhibited in London, Spain and Switzerland and in 2013 he was short-listed for the Duke of Gloucester Young Achievers Scheme.

Theo has worked for a number of architecture and design practices in Switzerland, Spain and the UK including Bearth and Deplazes in Chur, Switz, and Grimshaw Architects in London. In 2014 with two friends Theo co-founded PUP Architects, a platform for shared but diverse interests in design, art and architecture through which he has participated in numerous competitions and events. Pup is currently working on a range of residential and public buildings in the UK bringing Theo's interest in making and materials into practice.

Alongside his professional work Theo has held a number of tutoring positions. He has a particular interest in live projects and the designer as maker. He is Unit leader at the Riga Technical University Summer School in Latvia since 2011 and has previously taught 1st year at the Architectural Association and M.arch in Urban Cultures at Oxford Brooks University.
