  1. Before you came to Brookes what did you study and where?
  2. Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, UTS, Sydney.

  3. What made you choose Brookes as a place to study?
  4. The Masters Courses were multidisciplined, drawing together many different skill bases and offering a wide variety of options post graduation.

  5. What did you think of the course now you're here?
  6. The course definitely stretched me in several directions. As a professional designer, I had little experience in academic research and writing so these skills will take me in different directions.

  7. What are the best bits of studying at Brookes?
  8. The best thing about studying at Brookes is the diversity. All ages, skill bases and nationalities are at Brookes, in both teaching staff and students. I feel I have a world wide data base of friends and professional connections.

  9. What advice do you have for others?
  10. You need to Push yourself.

  11. What are your plans for when you've completed your course, for work or further study?
  12. I've just started the MArch for the course of the Summer, after which I hope to gain a Part II position at an architectural firm either in London or abroad.

  13. What achievements are you most proud of since graduating?
  14. My Masters thesis being Shortlisted for the RIBA Presidents Award for contribution to Architectural research.

  15. How has the course you studied at Oxford Brookes helped you in your career?
  16. It has given me the skills, qualifications and confidence to advance and diversify my career in Architecture.

  17. In what way is remaining connected to your alumni network important to you?
  18. Studying at Masters level introduces you to a wide group of people with similar skills and aspirations as your own. This is a valuable and rewarding opportunity.
