The Playful Ping Pong Pavilion moves to the London Olympic Walk - come and play!
All staff and students are invited to attend the playful pavilion events taking place in London during the London Festival of Architecture.
Scheduled spectacles include:
Weds 4th July:
Patriot Ping Pong
(American Ex-pats celebrate Independence Day)
Hot dogs on sale provided by 'Urban Feasts.'
All Americans, American appreciators and cowboys/girls welcome!
Saturday 7th July:
Starchitects Ping Pong Tournament
From Sunday 1st July - Sunday 8th July the public are invited to engage in the the pavilion and there will be subsequent talks and activities taking place throughout the two weeks
The Ping Pong Pavilion, co-designed and built by Architecture students at Montana State University (USA) and Oxford Brookes University, will feature as one of a series of installations at the Industri[us] project at Canning Town: www.industri-us.org. The Ping Pong Pavilion brief invited students to develop an interactive and engaging live project that explores ideas around public engagement in sport and offers everyone the chance to play ping pong - all at the same time!
