Sustained success for Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment

This year, the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment has continued to come out on top against its competitors in the university rankings. The faculty delivers four of the top ten courses at Brookes with the highest percentage of student satisfaction: BA Architecture, BA Real Estate Management, BA Publishing Media and BA Music.

Oxford Brookes as a whole has risen substantially in university league tables, climbing 34 places in student satisfaction rankings and the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment with its four out of ten top courses at Brookes has an even bigger win.

Year after year, Brookes rises significantly in the university league tables and this year is no different. The latest positive ranking for Oxford Brookes University is from The Times Good University Guide 2014, where Brookes has achieved a steady increase of two places since last year. Oxford Brookes is now ranked 50th out of 121 universities and continues to be rated as one of the top two ‘Modern’ universities in the UK.

The Times Good University Guide ranks universities according to eight key performance areas. These are student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards, graduate prospects, the proportion of Firsts and 2:1s achieved, completion rates, student-staff ratios, and services and facilities spend. Student Satisfaction scores are based on The National Student Survey 2013 (NSS).
