Dr Troiani’s presentation "The Interdisciplinary Landscape of Architecture Filmmaking" showcased three films, one of which was her own short film Illegal Architect (2013). Other speakers included Professor Francois Penz (University of Cambridge), Marc Boumeester (University of Delft), Professor Fred Truniger (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) and Rikke Munck Petersen (University of Copenhagen). The event provided an opportunity to launch a special issue on ‘Architecture Film’ (March 2015) co-edited by Dr Troiani and Professor Hugh Campbell, University College Dublin of the international award-winning journal, Architecture and Culture for which Dr Troiani is founder and editor-in-chief.
